First Grade Research

 Hi Friends,

     My name is Diana Rockefeller and I am thrilled to be teaching first grade this year!  I went to The University of South Alabama for my undergraduate work and then attended Central Connecticut State University for my graduate studies in early childhood education.  I taught kindergarten for six years then I stayed at home for several years to raise my own children.    I was happy to return to my teaching career two years ago as a math interventionist teaching second through fifth graders.   

      I have been married for 25 years and have three wonderful sons.  Andrew is 19 and attending Ohio University.  He is studying to be a pilot. Nick is 16 and will be a junior at Harrison High School.  He stays busy playing lacrosse.  John is 10.  He is in fifth grade at Ford this year.   We recently moved to Acworth from Sylvania, Ohio and are all happy to be here.

     I am very excited to have your child in room 204 this year!  We are going to have a wonderful year filled with many fun activities!
